Early Saturday morning, around two to three o’clock, several explosions were heard in the capital of Venezuela, Caracas, while residents reported seeing planes and helicopters flying over the city.
On Saturday morning, USA forces attacked Venezuela’s capital. Columns of smoke, the sound of aircraft, and strong detonations were seen and heard throughout Caracas. The southern part of the city, near a major military base, was left without electricity.
During the attack, key strategic points of the Venezuelan military were targeted. The operation was carried out in coordination with aircraft and attack helicopters, with the primary objective being the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. He, along with his wife, was seized by the USA elite “Delta Force” unit, and both were forcibly removed from the country.

Later, a photo of the captured Nicolás Maduro was released, showing members of the elite USA unit around him. The news of Maduro’s capture was triumphantly announced by Donald Trump, who posted the photo of the captured President Nicolás Maduro on his social media platform, Truth Social, and congratulated USA forces on a “brilliant operation.”
Several hours later, Maduro was flown from the USA base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to New York. He is expected to appear in court as early as Monday.
